iPhone (iOS)
- Open the keyboard in any app and tap the emoji (smiley) or π globe key.
- Tap the Smileys & People category, or tap the search field and type hand.
- Tap the emoji to drop it straight into your message.
Android
- Tap the emoji (smiley) icon next to the space bar on the keyboard.

What does π mean, praying or thank you?
Both. π (Folded Hands) is used for "please," "thank you," and hope, as well as prayer. Context decides, after a favour it means thanks; before one it means please.
What's the difference between π and π?
π Thumbs Up means "yes / good / approved." π OK Hand means "okay / perfect / got it." They overlap, but π leans toward "precisely right."
Can I change the skin tone of hand emoji?
Yes, most hand gestures support five skin-tone modifiers. On the emoji keyboard, press and hold (or long-tap) the gesture to pick a tone before inserting it.
