Number Emoji: Copy, Paste & Meanings

1-minute answer

Number emoji are the boxed "keycap" digits 0️⃣–9️⃣, plus 🔟, the # and * keycaps, and 🔢 (input numbers). They're built as sequences, a digit plus a keycap mark, so each one is several code points. Copy any key below into a countdown, ranking, or list; they render on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac.

03 FAQ

Why is a number emoji made of several code points?

A keycap like 1️⃣ combines the digit "1" (U+0031), a variation selector (U+FE0F), and the keycap mark (U+20E3). Copy the whole sequence, copying just the "1" gives you a plain digit.

Is there an emoji for numbers above 10?

Only 🔟 (keycap 10) exists as a single emoji. For higher numbers, people combine keycaps (1️⃣2️⃣) or use 🔢 (Input Numbers) as a generic "numbers" symbol.

What are the #️⃣ and *️⃣ emoji for?

They're the hash and asterisk keycaps that complete the phone-keypad set alongside 0️⃣–9️⃣, handy for styling phone numbers, codes, or menu options.
